Vancouver 2010

So while in Vancouver, when I wasn't at Granville Island, I could be found walking across the bridge away from it, eating the freshest, best sushi ever, drinking cappuccinos, overstuffed at Sung Sui Wah Seafood Restaurant during a delightful Dim Sum brunch, gazing with bewilderment at 2012 (easily the most ridiculous thing I've seen this year, maybe even the last two), witnessed Canada's disappointing defeat to their neighbor at their national sport, driving to Whistler with 360 degrees of nature at its finest, treating myself to seconds of raclette with Querido upon arrival and watching professional skiers jump through fire brimmed hoops.

Here are some photos I took along the way:

I regret not taking more photos at Dim Sum brunch. The dishes were too delicious I couldn't interrupt myself with picture taking! Third below are my favorites of all, the Fried Sesame Balls:

Banner snagged from Sung Sui Wah website.

Update: I just added the photo with breakfast because felt compelled to share the blueberry and pineapple butters on the baby pancakes. They were amaaazing... Also, I couldn't stand that dangling last photo. The unevenness was killing me.

Granville Island

I spent a lot of time at Granville Island in Vancouver this weekend, two days actually. I was very impressed by the quality of the public market's selection. From the mouthwatering barbecued oysters at The Lobster Man to the addictive apple chips... my stomach has never been fuller.

It's necessary to mention that the Organicfair chocolate from Edible British Columbia is by far the most unique, delicious of its kind... I used to be a sucker for that Vosges brand at Whole Foods and the Chicago Airport, but this is way more worth the extra $3 bucks you'd normally spend on chocolate.

About Me

My photo
I'm an LA transplant now living in Brooklyn. I develop film projects by day, write at night, and have a dangerous predilection for vintage Robinson Golluber scarves- this blog serves as a tiny window to everything else I do when I'm not satisfying those first three passions. I'm trying to blog more and tweet less @annabelleqv. What about you?
