Why am I in cold New York, reading a mildly dejecting section of Freedom, alone... When I could be with these beauties enjoying a Sunday brunch of chive and cheddar garnished fried egg over a roasted fingerling potato, yam, red cabbage, heirloom carrots and Japanese sweet potato hash? The side salad was butter lettuce, almond, yellow tomato, mint and avocado tossed in a dijon vinaigrette. Two Hunks and A Shrimpoe. That'll be the title of my first book.

If it was any consolation, it got pretty chilly on the balcony later in the afternoon too. The food however was absolutely delicious.
