... to brighten up a bad day. She cooked up a bowl of beef stroganoff for me, made us Bees Knees (gin, honey, lemon and candied ginger slices) and then treated us to her bread pudding with rum sauce. She soaked the raisins in rum overnight, and then reused the raisin rum in the batter. The rum sauce was other worldly consisting of brown sugar, butter, rum, whipping cream, nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon. She killed it, and is truly the bestest Bluebs in Brooklyn!
